How To Get There
Kuala Terengganu is accessible by air, bus or car from Kuala Lumpur.
By Air
Participants may travel by air to Sultan Mahmud Airport in Kuala Terengganu from three major airports via four airlines. Travelling by air takes about 55 minutes.
Sultan Mahmud airport is 8 km from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (10-15 minutes by taxi) and 14 km away from the city centre. Airport taxi and airport transfer are available to take you to your hotel or the city centre.
By Bus
You can opt for a 6-hour bus ride from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu. Eastbound buses are available at the bus terminal named Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) at Bandar Tasik Selatan, Kuala Lumpur.

You can also rent a car and drive to Kuala Terengganu using the East Coast Expressway (Lebuhraya Pantai Timur). It is very easy since there are plenty of signboards to guide you out of the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu.
